Taking NetSuite Implementation to the Big Screen

For over 90 years, Harkins Theatres has a been a trailblazer in creating immersive movie-going experiences. With over 30 theatre locations across four states, Harkins is the premier entertainment company in the American Southwest. Harkins needed a sophisticated ERP implementation to match the level of complexity of their business.

Unfortunately, not all ERP system implementations initially go as planned. Fortunately for our clients, Palladium Consulting Solutions is highly experienced at jumping in to rescue at-risk or stalled projects, with decades of combined expertise and white-glove service.

Harkins came to us with a partial migration from Microsoft Dynamics to Netsuite that needed to be fully delivered. A few subsidiary business units had already migrated to Netsuite, but the majority had yet to move over. Working with a complex transactional data set including inter-company data, credit memos and payment applications, our team guided Harkins on the best route for consolidation, migration and deprecation.

Designing the right data model was critical to consolidate between business units. This enabled Harkins to shift from a siloed approach to a one-world model of accounting in NetSuite. Historical data was successfully preserved and delivered in a user-friendly, portable dashboard. Within just four months, Palladium achieved 100% transaction validation across dozens of business units in Netsuite and fully deprecated Dynamics.
